Omaha mover, I-Go Van and Storage discusses key development with moving broker rules-MUST READ FOR FUTURE MOVING CUSTOMERS!

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration worked with the American Moving and Storage Association to get a requirement in place so moving and storage brokers have to present the same consumer protection materials as licensed household goods movers. Many customers have been duped by these unscrupulous brokers who “promise the world” to the customer with a low price and send the lead to a fly-by-night mover who does a terrible job or doesn’t even show up. These brokers also require a deposit which is against the rules. A licensed mover will never require a deposit. Please read the link we’ve included to find more information and please pass this info on to friends who are moving. As in the freight world, moving brokers are now required to take responsibility for those vendors they reccomend! Wouldn’t you think that would be a fair requirement?
